We are saddened by the news of untimely demise of our friend, Lakshmi Naraynan Sundararaman. He lost his battle against Leukemia 8/17/2020 at 9:35 PM at Loyola Hospital Mayfield, Illinois .
He is survived by his wife Sudha and a 14 year old son, Raksith. He was a loving father, a caring husband, a warm, friendly colleague, and, an immigration activist helping backlogged families. In all this, little did he think of what future had in store for him.
We did not foresee his departure this soon since he worked throughout the last year fighting leukemia, not missing out on work, nor did he apply for disability; all because he believed he had a fighting chance at life. A chance to secure future of his wife and kid to be successful in their lives and to keep his immigration record clean. Unfortunately for him and his family, it was not to be.
Having lost him, his family now has an uphill battle and a race against time - with surviving wife trying to figure out her next steps: and a sophomore whose dreams are in jeopardy - one of the reasons why his father decided to move to the USA 8 years ago.
We have organized this fundraising campaign on behalf of Lakshmi's family to cater to the immediate needs of his family during this grave personal loss. We request you all to come forward with your generous donation to help his family cover immediate needs of his family.
