Support Lakenbria Toney's Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

Hello, my name is Lakenbria Kim Toney, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as an elementary school teacher, coach, mentor, for the past 10 years. I have dedicated my life to shaping young minds and nurturing the dreams of countless students. Now, I’m facing the toughest challenge of my life—Stage 4 cancer that has spread to other organs.

Unfortunately, this diagnosis means I can no longer work, and I am currently undergoing aggressive treatments, including chemotherapy and other medical interventions. The financial burden of these treatments, along with the necessary medications and ongoing care, has become overwhelming. In addition to medical expenses, I also need specialized items to stay comfortable during this difficult time, such as bedding, transportation to and from appointments, and help with daily tasks.

Despite the pain and exhaustion I face, my spirit remains unbroken. However, I urgently need the support of my community to continue this fight.
