Support Laken Campo’s First Music Video for “Wedding Singer”

Hello, I’m Laken Campo! I’m a singer-songwriter from Flower Mound, Texas, now based in Nashville, TN. I moved here in 2020 to pursue my dreams of becoming an indie rock artist, and I am proud to say that, after nearly 5 years, that dream is coming true!

I have 4 singles out, the most recent one being an emotional concept song called Wedding Singer. It’s about moving on from unrequited love, and it is the first single off of my upcoming EP being released later this year. Since it is a part of a larger project and it marks a new journey within my artistry, I wanted to make it special by making a music video to really showcase the emotional journey of the song. The story involves a wedding singer performing at the wedding of her best friend who is, sadly, marrying someone else; a lot of people relate to the isolating feeling of not being “the one” for the person they love the most, and no one really knows how to properly move on from such a heart wrenching experience. We wanted to showcase that conflict onscreen in a way that connected with anyone who has been in that position, and has felt alone because of it.

Making a music video is a very exciting and wonderful experience - however, it is also VERY expensive! We are all independent artists and creatives in Nashville who purely want to make this video in order to tell its story to the best potential we can.
