This is the 2nd phase of fundraising for Lakeesha. Lakeesha has risen to the top of the transplant list and is set to receive her new kidney.

Along with a short hospital stay, she will be required to stay close to the transplant hospital for 2-3 weeks after surgery before being able to go home.

Lakeesha is in relatively good health and is expecting to recover quickly. Due to her great life choices (no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs), we pray that her recovery will be speedy and complete. But the downtime needed for this surgery and recovery will take a little while.

These funds will be used to cover the costs of required out-of-town lodgings, food, and other necessary expenses.
