Now, we’re facing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to finally own the land our soccer complex sits on. Lake Gaston Soccer Association, South Hill Soccer Complex Land Ownership Campaign

For 18 years, the Lake Gaston Soccer Association (LGSA) — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — has brought youth soccer to the South Hill and Lake Gaston communities. Each spring and fall, more than 200 children learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy living through our programs.

Our Goal

We are raising $200,000 to complete the purchase of the land for the South Hill Soccer Complex — the home of LGSA. This will secure a permanent place for our children to play and grow for generations to come.

Our Story

Founded in 2007 with a vision to provide for our community youth LGSA grew quickly and constructed Bunny's Field. In 2010, LGSA purchased those 25 Acres for our soccer complex through a 15-year interest-only mortgage totaling $250,000, with no prepayment allowed.

For the past 15 years, local donors have faithfully covered all debt service while LGSA and sponsors have handled the operation and maintenance costs.

Now, the full $250,000 principal balance is due on December 31, 2025.

We’ve already raised a portion of that amount — but we still need $200,000 to own our fields outright and protect the future of youth soccer in our community.
