My name is Laila “Lai” Smith and I’m a TEDx Speaker, Entrepreneur, USC Marshall and Iovine & Young Academy Student, USC Merit Scholar, and Creative being. I’ve worked at companies such as Ernst & Young (EY), Samsung, Amazon, Fabletics, and much more. I’m an Honors student at the University of Southern California and a Presidential Merit Scholar (USC) as well.
I starting a new innovative fashion venture called LAICRÉTE (lay-crait). With this venture, I will use disruptive innovation in order to make a positive impact upon society and uplift my community through fashion as well as disrupt norms and create unique fashion products. Another part of my business is using recycled fabrics. With your help, I can launch my venture in Winter 2025 and use my innovative brain to create something new, novel, and amazing. You’d be supporting a Black-Owned and Women-Owned startup by a scholar who attends an institution and specifically the Marshall Business School, currently ranked as one of the Top 15 business schools in the WORLD that have produced founders of Roblox, Box, Salesforce, and more. I am going to change the world through fashion and I am asking for your support to do it.
ANY Amount Donation Helps! Please support a Black-owned, student-owned, woman-owned venture!
