My name is Connie Kilgore, I am Grandmother to Lainey Tate Giles. Lainey is the Daughter of my son Trevor and Alyson, she was born she was born 10-23-25 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. When Lainey was born they found out she had medical problems so they transferred her to Children’s Hospital in Knoxville after being there and they did a lot of test on her they transferred her to Vanderbilt in Nashville Tennessee. Lainey was born a month early and will have to have several surgeries and a long stay in Nashville. She has been diagnosed with TAPVR to her heart and will have to have heart surgery. Small Bowel Atresia and will have to have surgery to correct. Alyson is in Nashville with Lainey and Trevor is traveling back and forth, They have other children at home and Trevor and Alyson are doing everything they can to be with all the children during this time and even taking them to Nashville. Alyson is off work where Lainey was just born but Trevor has had to miss work to be with Alyson and Lainey and the other children. Trevor and Alyson are amazing Patents and these children are Blessed. God goes before Lainey and he will take care of her.I have said all along God gave my son and Alyson a perfect Beautiful little girl, he just has to do some work on her to make her better. I am asking anyone that kind of to help my son what they can to help them with Travel expenses- food expenses and with things they may need for themselves or Lainey at this time. As a Family we are there for them and doing what we can. Most of all pray for my son’s Family and Baby Lainey, she has a long way to go but God is with her.
