Support Lainey Grace's Medical Journey

As many may know we welcomed sweet Lainey Grace back in April! While pregnant we did find out we would be facing some medical issues with her and were sent to UNC. Lainey spent the first 6 days of her journey under lots of medication and with a breathing tube due to complications at birth. She also had two surgeries within the first 4 days of life. We spent a total of 12 days in the NICU with her. She came home with a few answers to what the future looks like. She was diagnosed with a Cloacal Anomaly and we were told she would face probably a total of 3-4 surgeries to correct it. They placed a colostomy bag and uterine drain before we left the NICU being she does not have a rectum. Needless to say we started our “Normal” only to find out a month later that she had complications with her drain and had to undergo another surgery resulting in the new primary surgeon finding a lot more unknowns and complications than before and having to remove her appendix. She has a long journey ahead but is such a warrior and sweet baby! Were asking for donations to put towards hospital stays, gas for travel, food while away and monthly necessities as my job does not pay anymore than the 6 weeks off so anything I am taking now is unpaid. I of course will take any time I can to be able to be there for her surgical appointments and with her day to day due to no daycare being able to take her.
