Hi everyone! My name is Lainey Alceac and I am excited to share with you that I have the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona for the spring semester of 2026. From a young age, it has always been a dream of mine to travel the world. A few years ago while I was in high school, I saw a video about studying abroad and I knew I had to do it. It was not until this year I really decided to go through with it and apply. Thinking about being able to study in a different country while meeting new people, seeing the beautiful architecture, and really getting to experience the different cultures seems like an unreal experience. I am super excited to go on this journey, but a part of me is still nervous for all of the new possibilities and changes that may happen.

I am extremely excited for this opportunity, but the expense is an obstacle I am trying to navigate. As a full-time student and working almost full-time to save money, I still need help covering the costs of tuition, housing, travel, meals, and daily living expenses.
