On November 17, 2025, our brother in arms, "Laie" Holloway, survived what should have been an unsurvivable accident. Laie, a man that has never drank alcohol nor consumed drugs of any sort, was driving late at night near Laurel, Mississippi, his vehicle struck an animal in the road and rolled five times. Thanks to the rollover training we received in the Army, Laie was able to pull himself from the wreckage and get help, but the injuries he suffered are extensive, and the road ahead is long.
Laie is a fighter. He made it out of that car through grit, discipline, and the same strength that carried him through his military service. But even warriors need support. While he recovers, he’s unable to work at his full-time job, and he’s also losing income from his passion, professional photography. Laie has spent years capturing moments for families, friends, and his community, often doing pro bono work simply because he loves giving back. Now he’s unable to even pick up his camera, and has an eye orbital injury from this accident.
To make matters worse, the insurance company he paid to protect him is refusing to cover the costs of what he needs to get through this.
So we’re stepping in, like we’ve always done for our own.
We are raising funds to help Laie manage medical expenses, replace lost wages, and keep up with basic living costs as he heals. Any amount, big or small, makes a real difference.
If you can’t donate, please share. If you can donate, please know your contribution goes directly to helping a veteran, an artist, a friend, and a man who refused to give up, even when the odds were stacked against him.
