Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Lai Nguyen, who recently suffered a stroke, along with a right fractured arm, left broken wrist, and a small skull fracture. She is currently hospitalized and facing a long road to recovery.

Before this unexpected medical crisis, my mom worked as a chef and also did private catering jobs to support herself. Cooking has always been her passion and her way of showing love, not just to our family but to many in the community. She’s the type of person who would cook meals for the homeless or lend a hand to special needs families, always giving from the little she had.

Now, she is the one who needs help. Because of her injuries, she is unable to work and cannot keep up with her regular expenses. On top of medical bills, she still has to cover rent and utilities, and we’re doing our best to make sure she has a safe home to return to once she’s discharged from the hospital.

My mother has always been a giver, never hesitating to help others in need. It’s very hard for us to ask for help, but during this difficult time, we’re reaching out to our community for support.
