It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved community member, Lahcen Elmguielle, who lost his life in a devastating fire yesterday in Jersey City. Lahcen was not just a dedicated coworker—he was a brother, a friend, and an irreplaceable part of our Madinah Cultural Center family.

Tragically, his wife and two young children are currently in critical condition, fighting for their lives. This beautiful family has lost everything—their home, their possessions, and most painfully, their provider and pillar of strength.

Now, they need us.

We are calling on all people of goodwill, friends, neighbors, and anyone who believes in the power of community to come together in this moment of urgent need. Please, donate generously. Share widely. Let us lift this family through our prayers, our compassion, and our financial support.
