Support LaGuardia's Tech Students' USITT Journey

Let's turn the spotlight around and help Tech shine!
Please donate to send LaGuardia High School’s Technical Theater students to the United States Theater Institute of Technology’s (USITT) national conference this March in Columbus, Ohio!!!
USITT is a nationwide organization that fosters artistic innovation and the development of technology in the technical theater space. With chapters like the one here at LaGuardia in colleges and high schools across the country, USITT consists of a wide network of industry professionals at all levels, willing and wanting to work with new faces to the technical scene, including LaGuardia students!
USITT’s yearly conference is an opportunity that will remain with any tech student who attends for the remainder of their life. Attending gives tech students the chance to put their foot in the door with every major college theater program, get involved with theater industry professionals, attend workshops and panels, receive hands-on training, and gain inspiration that they can bring back to LaGuardia and into their future.
We are currently budgeting for a trip that costs approximately $750.00 per student, and we are planning to travel with approximately 28 students and four adult chaperones. This cost includes floor passes to the conference in Columbus, OH, travel and housing expenses, as well as the cost of adult chaperones. Not all LaGuardia students have the ability to use personal or family funds for an opportunity such as this, and we are engaging in multiple fundraising efforts to ensure that everyone who wants to attend the conference can join.
Any amount helps! You can donate $5, $50, or even $500!
All money collected will be used to bring down the overall cost of attending per student. In the event that the trip is canceled for any reason, the donated funds will go into the general tech donation pool.
Thank you for supporting Tech!
