Support LaGuardia Dance Seniors' Winter Showcase

My name is Hannah Brandt. I am a Senior Dance Major and am reaching out on behalf of the Fiorello H. LaGuardia Senior Dance class as we embark on our senior year journey.

This showcase is not just a performance. For us seniors, it's the culmination of countless hours of training, sacrifice, and passion. It represents years of pushing our limits, of growing not only as dancers but as individuals. It's one of the last times we'll gather as a unified group of artists, sharing the stage and pouring our hearts into our craft before we each embark on new paths—whether that's in dance, education, or other adventures.

The Winter Showcase is our opportunity to express everything we have learned in our technique classes (ballet, Horton, Limon, and Graham). We finally present this culmination in front of family, friends, and the wider community. For many of us, this will be one of the final times we perform with peers who have become like family. These moments are irreplaceable, and the memories forged on the stage will last a lifetime.

The cost of producing a show like ours includes specific lighting packages. As we are funded by the DOE (Department of Education), we adhere to a limited budget and would love to raise money to help future generations of LaGuardia as well. We are working hard to raise the necessary funds, but we can't do it alone.

We need your help to make this moment a reality. Any contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to the stage where we can finally share our artistry, passion, and dedication with the world. Your generosity ensures that our journey culminates in the celebration we all deserve. Please help us make our Winter Showcase a success because it's more than just a performance; it's the closing of a chapter, the fulfillment of dreams, and the beginning of the next stage in our lives.
