Hello, my name is Will. On Thursday, May 29th, while I was at work, I got a text from my daughter's grandma saying that when she came by to give Lady a treat, she noticed she was limping and thought that her leg was broken! So, immediately after I got off work, I rushed to see what was going on. Sure enough, Lady wasn't running up to me as she normally does. Her right front leg was completely limp, and she limped towards me in obvious pain. I inspected it as well as I could and knew then it was a break or a sprain. So, the next morning, I got a vet appointment for 1:30 to get her in and get X-rays done.
- Sure enough, it was a clean break. The veterinarian informed me that she would have to get surgery to have the bone placed right ASAP. Due to financial hardships recently, I just can't afford to get it done. So, I'm reaching out for any help possible. I've had Lady since she was 3 months old; she's 10 years old now. She's been the best dog anyone can ask for, and my kids absolutely love her! I've never done a GoFundMe or anything like this. I'm just in a bind right now and looking for any help I can get. Thank you.
