Hi everyone. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and read my story.

I was originally diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in October of 2020. I spent 2021 fighting with 15 rounds of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation. I was feeling good and remained cancer-free until June of 2024.

I had a completely normal mammo 6 months prior, but in June, an MRI discovered a new breast cancer in the opposite breast of my original diagnosis. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I had let the doctor talk me out of a double mastectomy, assuring me that another cancer in my breasts was unlikely and that it wouldn’t change my outcome in the long run. Turns out I’m the rare exception and did indeed develop a new cancer.

Many tests followed, and I was devastated to learn that in just 6 short months, I went from cancer-free to stage 4. It is in my brain, spine, lungs, liver, and bones.

My prognosis is terminal. However, I’m currently doing really well. My treatment is holding it off, and I’m hopeful to get as much time as I possibly can.

I’m on disability and living with and being financially supported by my retired mother. I am quickly draining her savings, and I don’t know how else to help. So I’m asking you for your help. Please help me live a lot while I have a little time (hopefully more!) left and help keep my mother from being destitute when I’m gone. I really appreciate anything you can spare; it all makes a difference for us.
