Our mom, LaDonna, has spent her life caring for others. As a nurse for over 30 years, she’s been a source of comfort, strength, and healing to countless patients and families. She poured her heart into her work—until 2020, when health issues forced her into early retirement.
Now, she’s facing her toughest battle yet.
LaDonna has been diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer. Her doctors have recommended a lobectomy—a major surgery to remove the affected portion of her lung. While we’re grateful it was caught early, the journey ahead is still overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.
We’re raising funds to help cover out-of-pocket medical expenses, travel for appointments and treatment, and the growing stack of bills that come with cancer care. Our goal is to ease her burden so she can focus on healing—not finances.
If you’ve ever met LaDonna, you know how deeply she loves her family, her friends, and her faith. She’s the kind of person who would give her last dollar or her last ounce of strength to help someone else. Now, it’s our turn to help her.
Anything you can give—no matter the amount—means the world to us. And if you can’t give, please share her story. Every prayer, every kind word, and every act of support matters more than we can say.
Thank you for being a part of her fight.
With love and gratitude,
Her family
