Hello, Family. My name is Ladoctor Minter-Verge. I’m here reaching out as well as just sharing my story. On November 25th, 2025 after experiencing some painful and debilitating symptoms, I presented to the ER where tests were ran and a mass was found in my colon as well as lesions on my liver. A little while later, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer which had already spread to my liver at a Stage 4. By the grace of God, I have completed my 4th round of chemotherapy and while we are seeing great response and progress to the treatment, we still have a ways to go before I can ring that bell showing I’m in remission (it’s coming though). It’s been some hard times but trusting and believing in God and His plan for me is what is driving me. My Family, Friends and Community have all rallied around me with prayers, words of encouragement and support and I am so grateful for it all. Unfortunately, with this life change and the chemotherapy regimen my trusted Doctors have implemented, it has left me unable to work at this time. If you know me, you know I’m always on the move working or doing something productive to stay busy. Im here swallowing my pride and asking for assistance with the doctor bills, office visits, scans and chemotherapy I’m incurring, as well as just the day to day bills, living expenses, food etc. Whatever you may be able to spare is much appreciated if able. If not Im thankful for you being here, taking the time to read my story, for the prayers and encouragement. God is so good, better than good and I’m just so thankful. God Bless You All!
