As most of you know. Ladis and I have been in the process of his citizenship for the last 9 years. He works hard to support our family as he is the sole provider. We have done our best to save for this knowing it was coming but since applying they have added additional steps and procedures that we have to cover. Between lawyer fees, government fees and travel costs we have spent over $15,000. We have just received his final step/appointment to finally close this chapter! Unfortunately they gave us less than 6 weeks to prepare and fund this trip. His appointment is in Juárez Mexico and we were told to schedule our hotel and flights for two weeks while we attend three separate appointments. While we are there we have to pay for not only the flight and hotel, but also the government fees that come along with the medical exam biometric exam and the cost of the documents. Additionally we will have no income as he has to take two weeks unpaid leave to attend. We have four children and three of them are attending catholic school. Our son had to be switched to an expensive formula due to a allergy. These added expenses is making it difficult to afford. If you have it in your heart to donate and help us we would greatly appreciate it. If you can not help we totally understand as this time is hard for everyone. If you could also pray for ladis as this is a very stressful time. It has been a lot of work to get here! While we are so excited we are also very nervous!
