On February 28, our world changed when we received the call that no parent ever wants. My daughter Lacy was rushed to a trauma hospital after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. Thanks to the incredible medical team, she underwent a successful procedure and is now in the ICU, where she will remain for several weeks. Doctors are closely monitoring her for a possible drainage procedure, and we are hopeful that it won’t be necessary.
Lacy is a devoted full-time assistant at Planet Fitness, and her income is vital for her 16-year-old autistic son and his dad. With Lacy unable to work for an extended period—possibly six months to a year—the family is facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. Most of Lacy’s family lives four hours away, and we are traveling back and forth to be by her side. As expenses continue to stack up, we are reaching out for help to cover living costs, travel, and anything else that will support Lacy and her family during this challenging time.
We are extremely grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing Lacy’s story. I am so proud of my grandson for his strength and courage through all of this. Please hug your loved ones and find a reason to laugh each day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us.
