Help Lacy Fight Breast Cancer
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am writing this as a sister who is completely heartbroken and terrified—but also full of hope. My beautiful sister Lacy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and our family is facing the biggest fight of our lives.
Lacy is not just my sister—she is a devoted wife and an incredible mother to two amazing little boys who are her entire world. Every single thing she does is for them. Now, instead of living ordinary life moments with her family, she is sitting in chemotherapy chairs, fighting for her life with more strength than I ever knew was possible.
Her husband has been right by her side through every appointment, every treatment, every sleepless night, and every hard conversation. While he is holding their family together with unwavering love and strength, the emotional and financial weight on both of them is overwhelming.
She has already started treatment, and while she is facing it with courage and grace, the reality is brutal. The physical toll has been devastating. The emotional weight is unimaginable. And the financial stress is adding a fear no family should ever have to carry.
Why We Need Your Help
Between chemotherapy, upcoming surgeries, doctor visits and medications, the bills are piling up faster than we can keep up.
At the same time, life doesn’t stop:
- Mortgage and utilities still have to be paid
- Groceries still need to be bought
- Gas is needed for countless medical appointments
- And most importantly, their boys still need stability, care, and security
Lacy and her husband should be able to focus on healing and keeping their family together—not on how they will survive financially during the hardest season of their lives.
From One Sister’s Heart
Watching my sister and her husband go through this is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. They are scared. We are all scared. But they are fighting with everything they have—for themselves and for their boys. They are exhausted, yet they keep going. They are hurting, yet they still find ways to smile for their children.
If you know Lacy, you know she would never ask for this. She is the one who shows up for others. Now, she and her family need others to show up for them.
