Hi, my name is Bailey, and I’ve known Lacey since middle school. She’s someone I care deeply about, and seeing her go through this medical situation has been heartbreaking. I’m creating this GoFundMe to help support her with medical expenses and some of the financial burden she’s facing while she focuses on her health.

An unexpected medical emergency developed during the recovery of her first ever surgery for the removal of cantaloupe and grapefruit size cysts from both ovaries. A life-threatening turn for the worst occurred and she barely made it to the ER in time for multiple blood transfusions and emergency surgery that saved her life. Doctors don’t know how she survived for how severe and bad condition she was in. If waited one more day, she would not be here today. Thanks to her boyfriend Craig Patterson who saved her life by initiating help from her doctor and getting her to an emergency appointment and then to the ER. Her treatment involves a long hospital stay and several months of treatments and recovering at home with multiple trips to the hospital every week to be monitored and have tests done.
