Support La Nacional Restaurant Employees COVID19
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Founded in 1868, La Nacional – Spanish Benevolent Society is the oldest Spanish cultural institution in the United States. Together with the society, La Nacional Restaurant, officially the cantina of the Spanish Benevolent Society, was created to be inclusive and to appeal to the wide array of people who call La Nacional their second home.
Sadly, we were forced to make the decision to temporarily close our restaurant due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Our society is suffering enormous economic losses, but what we cannot allow is to lose our employees who day after day with great effort, work to make La Nacional a place where Hispanic culture expands, a place to be enjoyed, and share as a big family.
Our servers, our cooks, our bartenders, our dishwashers, and our hostess are low-income workers who are in dire need of financial assistance. That is why today we are asking for your generosity and empathy to help us support them when they need us most to survive, since 100% of your donations will be distributed to each of them so that they can cover part their food and rent expenses.
Thank you everyone, every single donation or sharing of this publication counts!
Stay healthy and be safe.
