Please support my beautiful friend Ky while she recovers from a life-threatening gunshot wound.

While sleeping peacefully in her bed on September 14th, a bullet ripped through the floor of her bedroom from the apartment below and struck Ky in the upper thigh. The bullet exited her calf and lodged into the ceiling above. Her injury, the result of the improper and negligent use of a rifle, caused massive bleeding, and Ky was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to save her life. She remains in the hospital and has a long road ahead of both physical and emotional healing. She will be on leave from her job as a PreK teacher for an indefinite amount of time, and her boyfriend is taking considerable time off his job to support her and recover from witnessing this traumatic event himself.
