Hello Everyone. My name is Kyrsten Pratt. I am a single mother. And a recovering addict. I have a five month old daughter, who had heart surgery shortly after her birth. She's a fighter, Just like her mother. But, she's had a few more medical complications since she was born, and has ongoing doctors appointments she needs to get to. Currently, I'm trying to do everything right by her.. I've gotten myself clean, I took care of all my past legal matters, I graduated residential rehab, and am now living in sober living in Redding. All my daughters apts are in Sacramento at UCDavis, which is quite the drive and become considerately hard on gas. I could be saving an extra $250 dollars a month but instead I'm having to use it to pay for a storage unit located in Las Vegas, where I just recently moved back from. I can't just stop paying for this unit, because it has SO many sentimental things in it. Family Photos, Gifts from family members, the majority of my clothes and belongings that I can't lose. So, I'm creating this fundraiser.. So I can pay my storage bill, and get back to Las Vegas to grab all my belongings out of it, and also get back here to CA - so I don't get stuck in Las Vegas. The sooner I'm able to do so, The less it will cost me. And after I get my stuff out of it, It's one more stressor I can remove from my life. And the money I've been wasting on paying for this unit, can start being saved up towards my daughter instead . And actually put to good use. I know this is ALOT of me to ask, especially from strangers. And I get it . It's my problem, my responsibility.. But I'm asking this because I'm at a point where I have no other options.. So please don't judge. I need help, and I've recently learned while in recovery . That reaching out and asking for help when I need it is a good thing. Not a weakness. So with all that said, All I can ask of anyone is please.. Anything helps. Even the smallest amount adds up.. and will go to good use. That's all. Thank you.
