Support Kyrsten On Her Road From Trauma to Recovery
GO FUND ME

On November 5, 2025, Kyrsten’s life changed instantly.

She was a passenger in her own vehicle when a catastrophic car accident occurred in Kent County, Michigan. In one second, a normal day turned into a fight for mobility, stability, and her future.

Kyrsten survived — but with severe injuries.
She suffered a cervical neck fracture with spinal cord injury and multiple major leg fractures that required surgical rods to be placed in her tibia and femur. Her clavicle is broken and has a head laceration from ear to ear. She currently cannot walk, cannot move, receiving round the clock Trauma Intensive Care, and is fighting a tough road to recovery every single day.

She is still hospitalized in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit, and hopefully in a month or two begin the long, difficult, medically intense journey of rebuilding her mobility — step by step, muscle by muscle, and day by day.

Kyrsten is a full-time Registered Nurse, has been a travel nurse throughout a 13-year career caring for everyone else. She is used to being the helper… not the one who needs help. She has encouraged the fight in her patients and friends, and we believe she will embrace the fight of her life for herself. She was in the process of restarting her education to add credentials as a Nurse Practitioner. Saving lives is who she is born to be - - and we want her devotion as a health care worker to flourish once again.

But right now, she needs a community, a village, without a doubt - many prayers, and a lifeline support.

Because of the crash, everything related to medical care, bills, equipment, rehab transitions, wage protection, and disability support has become extremely complicated. Even with short-term disability and insurance aid, Kyrsten is facing major financial losses — long before she can safely return to work as a Registered Nurse, stand on her own, or rebuild her independence.

Where Your Contributions Will Support Kyrsten's Road to Recovery:
• Emergency living expenses during prolonged healing
• Medical bills & mobility equipment not covered by insurance
• Caregiver support & daily mobility care needs during rehabilitation

The physical, emotional, and medical mountain she must now climb is enormous — but she is not climbing it alone.

How You Can Help

Every donation — big or small — brings Kyrsten hope and reduces the overwhelming stress of trying to survive financially while healing physically.
Every share helps her story reach more people.
Every message reminds her she is not forgotten.

Thank you for believing in Kyrsten, for lifting her up when she cannot stand on her own yet. She has a long road ahead, but she has the heart of a fighter. With community support, she will return as the devoted health care worker.

Please donate, share, and stand with Kyrsten during this long road to recovery.
Her loving and devoted Mom, Dad, Sister, family, loved ones, and support circle — thank you.
