Hello! My name is Kyra Sims, and I’m currently working on my doctoral capstone project in Occupational Therapy, focused on improving continuity of care for breast cancer patients. This research is incredibly important to me, as I believe seamless care can make a life-changing difference for individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

I’ve been given the unique opportunity to conduct my capstone at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, where I will work directly with healthcare professionals and patients to identify and implement strategies that improve care coordination, communication, and overall patient outcomes.
