Kyoka is my 12-year-old cat whose condition recently worsened from stage 3 kidney disease to stage 4. I am a broke college student, and her vet visits are more frequent and expensive. I'd have to take her to the vet twice a week now to keep her alive, and she has been prescribed more medications that I have to pay for on top of her kidney care food, hydro packs, and fluid injections. She's becoming weaker by the day and rapidly losing weight. Kyoka is my emotional support animal. I got her after my childhood cat, Furikake, passed away. I cannot bear to watch another one of my babies slowly die due to uncontrollable diseases that cause malnourishment. I was too young to afford treatment for my last cat. I want Kyoka to have the best possible treatment so she can ride out the rest of her life in peace and happiness. She loves meeting people, licking them like they're her stinky babies, and stealing your chicken noodle soup. Kyoka loves snuggling, playing with her toys, and sleeping on our PS4 at home. She brightens and touches the lives of many people, including all of my friends and family. She's truly the most patient, loving cat you can meet.
