On February 5th, 2026, Kynli was involved in a serious car accident with 3 of her friends, and was airlifted to Medical City McKinney, where she currently remains hospitalized. She sustained very significant injuries, including multiple broken ribs that required a lengthy surgery to stabilize, a collapsed lung that required a chest tube, and additional internal injuries that are being closely monitored.
Kynli has recently been moved out of the ICU, but she faces a long recovery and is expected to be unable to work for several months. She lives independently and is responsible for all of her living expenses, including rent, utilities, and transportation. Right now, her focus needs to be on healing, not financial stress. This GoFundMe is being set up in addition to other local or mobile donation methods which are provided below.
