Support Kynlee's Journey to Healing

Tracy and Staci Moorman including their 3 children, Brittany, Dakota and Kynlee, have endured countless medical issues throughout the years, including Staci and Brittany being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation. Staci has undergone 3 brain surgeries and Brittany has also undergone brain surgery as well. Tracy suffered a severe stroke in December of 2023 which left him with permanent weakness on his right side and is no longer able to work. They were also informed he had a stroke at least 6 months prior that didn’t cause symptoms, but did cause damage to the brain. Tracy has worked hard his entire adult life and was always available to help anyone who needed a hand. Staci has also always worked full-time, however she resigned from her job in order to help Tracy at home. After a long battle, Tracy was finally approved for disability just last month. This caused them to go without any income for over a year, so they still have a long way to go with past medical bills as well as other bills before they can get caught up. Unfortunately, just as Kynlee was starting high school and excited for all the activities she was looking forward to participating in, she began to have fainting episodes along with severe fatigue and numerous other symptoms. After wearing a heart monitor for 2 weeks the results revealed that her heart rate was jumping as high as 203/bpm to as low as 40/bpm. It also showed that these up and down heart rates would occur even while she slept. She then began having issues with multiple joints popping in and out of place. This causes extreme pain, especially in her knees. She was prescribed walking crutches to use when she needs to walk for more than a few minutes due to the extreme fatigue as well as helping with the pain in her knees. So far Kynlee has seen two specialists. She has been diagnosed with an autonomic dysfunction disorder. This disorder causes the blood to flow straight to her feet instead of throughout her body, which causes the fainting, extreme fatigue and heart rate issues. However, since she’s displaying so many other issues, these specialists believe she has multiple issues going on. Currently Staci, Kynlee’s primary care physician and her Care Coordinator are looking at specialty clinics that have experience in treating patients with multiple disorders which will require traveling out of state. They had hoped to go to Mayo, however their insurance doesn’t cover services there. This is the main reason they are searching for other clinics that do. In the meantime, Kynlee goes to the local infusion center and receives 2 bags of IV saline solution twice a week which helps with blood flow. These have been very helpful in keeping her fainting spells down as well as the extreme fatigue. Unfortunately, due to all of these issues, Kynlee is currently doing her school work from home using an online program through her school. She misses her friends, teachers and everything that goes with being a high schooler. Kynlee and her family are hoping to have more answers to her symptoms and a treatment plan so that she will be able to be back at school by the next school year. Due to the high probability of having to travel out of state for answers and treatment, continuing to help Tracy with his needs and Staci not being able to go back to work until they have some answers and a treatment plan for Kynlee and are approved for having home health care for Tracy, they unfortunately continue to struggle with finances and would be appreciative of any help they can get. Brittany and Dakota are now adults, however live close by and help whenever they can but Tracy and Staci want them to focus on their own responsibilities as much as possible and are not the kind of people who ask for help from anyone. At this point though, they know getting Kynlee the best possible doctors and treatment will require financial help and are asking for help from anyone who might be able to donate. They also understand everyone has struggles themselves and understand if you can’t financially donate at this time. They do believe in the power of prayer, and ask that anyone who feels comfortable, to please keep them in your prayers while they continue to fight all their current battles. Since Kynlee was old enough to talk, she has had a special ability to speak to adults and connect with them on a level that has been inspiring. They are always getting comments on her big heart and personality. She also has a special ability with animals and has had a love for every kind from cats to horses to rabbits and guinea pigs. She currently volunteers at her local shelter every Tuesday, when her health allows. Even the volunteers there have commented on her ability to be the only one to bring a scared dog or cat out of their refusal to let anyone pet them and brings all the animals a special kind of “calm”. She has been in 4H since she was 5 showing rabbits and guinea pigs and even won all around Grand Champion. Kynlee’s kind soul is something her parents are so proud of. She brings joy to everyone she meets. Her parents pray they can get her some relief. Not only for her physical pain, but to keep that special light she brings with her wherever she goes. ❤️
