My daughter Kylie has undergone 2 major eye surgeries for a detached retina in each eye in less than 3 months and is still facing complications. The first surgery was February 17th on the left eye and was successful, but while healing the same complication occurred in the right eye. The second surgery was April 29th for the right eye and is so far successful but unfortunately, she woke up on May 3rd not being able to see out of her left eye. After an emergency appointment on May 4th, she received a shot in the left eye to stop the bleeding that has been building up that potentially is causing the blindness. The right eye also has blood building up but doctors are waiting to see if it can drain on its own and if not, she will have to have another surgery to drain the blood from the eye. During this entire process she has been out of work for 3 months with no return date at this time and with these complications they have left her to be dependent on others to drive, guide her while walking, and some basic day to day activities. Medical bills and living expenses are getting harder and harder to pay. I am reaching out to ask for your support during this difficult time.
