Support Kylie Schutzmann On Her 2nd Battle with Cancer

Donation protected
In early 2018, as a freshman in high school, Kylie Schutzmann was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. After a long and difficult battle at such a young age, she was finally able to celebrate the words everyone hopes to hear—she was cancer free. Fast forward to October of 2025. During one of her annual checkups, doctors noticed something concerning on a scan. After additional tests and biopsies, Kylie and her family received heartbreaking news: her cancer had returned after seven years. As you can imagine, the news brought overwhelming fear, anxiety, and uncertainty for everyone who loves her. After meeting with her doctors and creating a new treatment plan, Kylie was told she would need to begin chemotherapy again for the next eight months in hopes of eliminating the cancer that has come back.

Sadly, cancer is not a new battle for this family. When Kylie’s mom was pregnant with her, she was diagnosed with cancer and had to give birth early so she could go through treatment. Years later, Kylie faced her own diagnosis as a teenager. Now, with this recurrence, the family is facing chemotherapy for the third time. The emotional toll is heavy, and the financial burden that comes with repeated treatments has been overwhelming. Her parents are both teachers, so money goes towards everything related to this struggle. Along with the emotional and physical challenges of treatment, the family is also facing financial strain. Every couple weeks, Kylie must travel about 3½ hours to Spokane for appointments and treatments, often staying for several days at a time. With the rising costs of gas, hotels, and food, these trips add up quickly especially while managing ongoing medical expenses. Both parents work in education so money is not the easiest.

During this incredibly difficult time, we want to come together and support the Schutzmann family in any way we can. The road ahead will include many long trips, treatments, and days focused entirely on Kylie’s health and healing. Our hope is to help relieve some of the financial stress so the family can focus on what truly matters—supporting Kylie through treatment and recovery. If you feel led to help, any donation—no matter the size—would mean so much to Kylie and her family. Your generosity will go toward medical expenses, travel costs to and from Spokane, lodging during treatments, and other everyday needs that come with this journey. If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Kylie and her family in your thoughts and prayers is just as meaningful. Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every share helps remind them that they are not walking through this alone. Kylie’s strength, faith, and positivity continue to inspire everyone around her. Let’s surround the Schutzmann family with the same love and support they have always shown to others. Thank you for taking the time to read Kylie’s story and for any support you are able to give. It truly means more than words can express.

Note for any confusion as to who made this fundraiser - My name is Cal Anderson. I have no relation to the family. I have a clothing brand called TWISI, and a sweet lady named Nicole messaged me on instagram about Kylie's story. I told her 20% of profits from the clothing will go straight to Kylie and her family. I lost my mom, ex girlfriend, aunt, and all of my grandparents to cancer, so Kylie's story moved me and it would be amazing if we can make a difference for her and her family. All funds raised here will go directly to the family.
