Support Kylie Droke’s Liver Transplant Journey
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of hope to ask for your support as my sister, Kylie Droke, faces a critical moment in her life. After a long and difficult battle with liver disease, Kylie is awaiting a life-saving liver transplant at UAB Hospital. This surgery is her best chance for a future filled with health and happiness, but the road ahead will be challenging both physically and financially.
While insurance will cover some of the expenses, there are still significant costs associated with the transplant itself, pre/post-surgery care, medications, travel, and recovery time. Kylie and our mom, Glenda, have had to take a leave of absence from work due to travels to and from Birmingham, previous hospital stays at South Alabama and UAB, as well as all of the appointments Kylie has prior to a liver being received. These expenses are adding up quickly, and Kylie and our family are facing an overwhelming financial burden during an already stressful time.
This is where we need your help.
We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help raise the funds needed to cover the costs that aren’t covered by insurance, including:
• A percentage of hospital and surgery costs
• Pre/Post-transplant medications and treatments
• Travel and accommodation expenses
• Time off work for recovery
No amount is too small—every donation will make a meaningful impact in helping Kylie get the care she needs to recover and rebuild her life.
In addition to financial support, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and encouragement as Kylie waits to undergo this major surgery and begins the long road to recovery. She is a fighter, and with the love and support of all of us, we are confident she will get through this.
Thank you so much for your generosity, love, and support during this challenging time. Kylie is incredibly grateful, and we all are.
With gratitude,
Lea
