Hi my name is Ellen and my husband is a pastor in Puerto Peñasco and our son lives with us as well. He went through a divorce and lots of rejections for jobs and just felt worthless so he started to drink a lot. He had 2 seizures 3 weeks ago and was not breathing very well. The red cross ambulance took him to the border and a helicopter met the ambulance on the side of the US. He was taken by the helicopter to Banner University Tucson medical hospital that is a trauma 1 hospital. He was taken to ICU and praise God they saved him. He couldn’t breath on his on. After being moved to the trauma floor he started recovering. . The problem is his mind has not healed to its potential. We found a great rehab that is wonderful It was founded by Brandon, the only firefighter that survived that horrible fire in Prescott that killed 19 firefighters. Brandon had extreme PTSD and trauma, as you can probably imagine , and he started using heroin. He recovered from his addiction and started Hold Fast They do some very unique things at this rehab. One is called neurofaith
NeuroFaith: The Intersection of Science and Faith in the Healing of Trauma and Addiction, Dr. Jeffrey Hansen, Tim Hayden, and Pastor Early Heverly blend cutting-edge neuroscience with faith-based wisdom to offer a compassionate, evidence-based approach to healing.
they have dual diagnosis which reverses and helps with the part of the brain that needs healing, alcohol they also have EDMR, which is some sort of eye technique that helps with trauma and addiction.
I just want to thank you so much for any amount of money that you could give to help Kyle get well. His goal is to return to Puerto Peñasco and help the boys learn basketball. We have a new basketball court at the church. Your prayers are the greatest gift ever so we would also love your prayers.
