On December 7, our 5-year-old son, Kyle, suffered a massive stroke and was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease, a rare, progressive condition that causes the blood vessels in the brain to narrow, increasing the risk of repeated strokes. Since his diagnosis, Kyle has undergone brain indirect bypass surgeries and continues to work hard in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The surgeries take months before we know if they will work, and there is no cure for Moyamoya, meaning Kyle will need lifelong care.
Recently, Kyle’s disease progressed rapidly in just three months, and we are seeking a second opinion from a Moyamoya specialist in Boston. The medical expenses, therapy, travel, and time away from work have placed a significant financial burden on our family. We are doing everything we can to give Kyle the best chance at recovery and a brighter future, but we need help.
If you’re able to donate, every contribution will go directly toward Kyle’s continued care and recovery. If you can’t donate, sharing his story and keeping him in your prayers means more than words can express. Thank you for helping us give Kyle every opportunity to keep fighting.
