Support Kyle's Fight Against Leukemia

This gofundme is for my friend’s son, Kyle. He has recently diagnosed with Leukemia. The following information came from her most recent post on Facebook. If you are able, please help support this sweet family through this difficult time. ❤️

“As parents your only wish and prayer in life is for your children to be happy, healthy and safe. You never think that it will be your kid something happens to. After hours of waiting James Bullington and I had a meeting in a conference room and had to hear a phrase no parent ever wants to hear…hello my name is Dr—- and sorry to inform you but your son has Leukemia which is a form of cancer. Yes, I said it cancer, something I never in my life I thought I would have to say. I was in a pretty catatonic state after hearing the news…time came almost to a halt, my body was moving in slow motion, and I could barely get any words out of my mouth. After what seemed like hours of lying in bed or shuffling around the room going no where and leaving James to make all of the calls because I physically could not form the word cancer from my mouth, I decided it was time to be strong for not just Kyle but James and Kori as well and they need me, because our baby has a tough road ahead we need to be strong when he needs us the most. The exact path of what’s to come is unclear at this time but what we do know for now is that we think it was caught very early, this cancer is one they know how to treat and typically has a very positive outcome. All we know right now is he will have a pre op chest x-ray and echo with labs in the morning and either Monday or Tuesday Kyle will have to be put under sedation to receive his port, a test to check his cerebrospinal fluid to make sure it’s not in the brain area, and a bone marrow test. He will be on chemo for 2 ys. This is all we know for now. Please continue to keep our boy in your prayers.
