Help Kyle’s Family Rebuild After Devastating House Explosion

On July 25th, tragedy struck when a house explosion destroyed the home of Sherry, beloved mother and grandmother. Sherry was inside the home with her two granddaughters when the explosion occurred. Her grandson, who had been at a nearby friend’s house, heard the blast and heroically rushed into the burning home to carry his grandmother out.

Miraculously, the children escaped with only minor physical injuries. But Sherry was airlifted to a trauma unit with burns over 90% of her body, including damage to her lungs and throat. She is currently in an induced coma, and the prognosis is unknown.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but what’s clear is the enormous loss this family has endured.

• A $1,000 remote control car that Kyle’s son cherished

• Critical medication for one of Kyle’s daughters—$1,400 worth, now gone
