As many of you know, a few weeks ago our world was turned upside down when Kyle was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Grade 4 — the most aggressive form of brain cancer. This is something none of us could have ever imagined, and it has been a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty. We are incredibly grateful for all of the love, support, and prayers that have been sent our way — they mean more than we can express.

On a hopeful note, Kyle had an incredible surgeon who was able to safely remove 90–95% of the tumor. He begins radiation and chemotherapy this week, along with exploring integrative medicine options to give him the best possible chance in this fight. Unfortunately, many of these integrative treatments are not covered by insurance, which is why we’ve created this GoFundMe — to help ease the financial burden and allow Kyle to focus on healing.

Also of note is that obviously Kyle and Kaitlyn have been off work for multiple weeks.

If you know Kyle, you know he’s a fighter — determined, strong, and full of heart. His love for his wife Kaitlyn, and daughter Laiken, and everyone close to him has always been obvious. The outpouring of love, help, and generosity we’ve received already is a reflection of the incredible person he is and how deeply he’s loved. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. ❤️
