Three months ago, Kylee and Isaiah Taffolla welcomed their baby girl, Harlee, into the world. At just one week postpartum, Kylee was hospitalized due to heart failure. Since then, she has been in and out of multiple hospitals, undergoing countless tests, procedures, and evaluations. After months of uncertainty and consultations with specialists, doctors have determined that Kylee needs a heart transplant. Kylee will remain hospitalized until a donor heart becomes available. No one knows when that will be—it could be days, weeks, or months. The waiting is exhausting, emotional, and overwhelming, especially with a newborn at home who needs her mama.
