This gofundme is to help fund Kyle Sullivan Dobbs' script 'UPSTATE' into becoming an indie feature film. This will be Kyle's first feature that will hopefully begin filming in the summer of 2026. The story is one of strange happenings and other-worldly danger while primarily being grounded in human interaction, with most of the scenes consisting of dialogue and stylized shots. Shooting to reach the goal of a reasonable budget of 35,000, the film is written to be executed in a short time period with a small amount of expenses.

This script has been a labor of love and the vision for it has been years in the making honing aesthetics, personal experience, and a love for twisted film that doesn't treat the audience like they are stupid and never holds their hand through the plot.
