Support Kyle Schober: Impassioned EMT in Need
Donation protected
Hi! I am a co-worker of Kyle Schober, an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a 911 EMS in the Charleston area of South Carolina. Kyle is new to EMS, but his passion for helping others and interacting with his community and peers is not. His impassioned service focuses on being a positive and helpful presence for those experiencing possibly the worse moments of their life.
Unfortunately, at the age of 26, Kyle is now experiencing the most horrifying challenge of his young life in the form of tongue cancer. Kyle is going to fight to not only become cancer free but to also maintain his ability to enjoy a quality of life that includes singing, acting, continuing his new career as an EMT, and much more. This truly will be a fight for his life that will require removing half of this tongue later this month (Aug-’24) followed by at least 1-3 months of recovery consisting of rigorous physical and speech therapy.
Compounding these challenges for Kyle is the financial strain that will be immediately placed upon him. During his recovery, Kyle will not have a source of income. Paying for basic needs may be impossible. Consequently, on behalf of Kyle, I am asking for your assistance in easing Kyle’s fight by making a donation that will be used to cover life’s most basic costs such as food and shelter.
Thank you and #FuckCancer
