Hey y'all, I've done a few of these now, all in relation to health care and more specifically for my chronic back pain/issues. There are no words to express how thankful I am for the healing and relief I've received over the years via the support of strangers. Truly thankful beyond words.

I am launching another go fund me in relation to my chronic back issues, hoping to raise support for a few present needs. For those of you who may not be familiar with who I am or the nature of my work, allow me to introduce myself before I dive into what this Go Fund Me is for.

My name is Kyle J. Howard, I am a husband and father of four. I am a Christian theologian and minister and my work over the past several years has largely been in helping ethnic minority survivors of spiritual abuse and racial trauma process through their experiences and find a path of healing and faith expressions that allow them to flourish free from principles and cultures that have caused them harm. I often work in partnership with licensed counselors and therapists, who like me, believe in the necessity of comprehensive care for comprehensive flourishing (mind, soul, and body). I currently hold 3 seminary degree; Associates in Biblical & Theological studies, bachelors in Counseling, and a Masters in historical theology. As a survivor of spiritual abuse myself, many times over, It is my passion to help others process such experiences, find a measure of healing, and most of all flourish beyond the trauma of faith based abuse and relational betrayal.

Since I was 12 years old, I have struggled greatly with severe back pain. I had a pretty severe case of scoliosis throughout my teen years as well. For over 25 years now, I have navigated every day of my life in an immense amount of pain in my back; muscles, joints, and nerves. Doctors have run every kind of test and all have shown that I am healthy but the pain has never ceased being severe. Several years ago, I found a Chiropractic office that specializes in the intersection of Chiropractic care & neurology, it has been a godsend. Since starting with them several years ago, I have experienced a tremendous amount of healing and relief. I went from it taking me an hour every morning to get out of bed due to pain, to now being able to get out of bed as soon as I wake up. Unfortunately, due to some compounded trauma over the past year, my body has had somewhat of a serious relapse and life has been extremely painful and often times unmanageable for the past several months. This Go Fund Me is to support some immediate needs I have that I hope will get me back to a place of personal flourishing so that I am able to live without extreme pain, work without the burden of extreme pain, and do so without accumulating an increased burden of debt for my family.

I am hoping to raise funds for the next 6 months of both Chiropractic care & physical therapy. The medical professionals currently helping me in this process, in support of my work, have consistently offered me a "ministry discount" on care services.

The current 6 month plan of care recommended to me by my doctors is a two session a week schedule.

The current goal of two sessions a week is most ideal, but I would truly be grateful if I could raise enough to at least cover one. Without any, pain isn't very manageable. With a least one session a week, pain is able to be suppressed to a degree. Whatever you are able to give in support would be deeply appreciated.
