Support Kyle Heath's Heart Transplant Journey

In mid February of this year (2019) Kyle went to the emergency room not feeling well, it was determined he was in heart failure. After 5 long days and many many tests Kyle was diagnosed with Cardio Myopathy and it was determined the left side of his heart was only functioning at 19%.  Many medications have been prescribed and tweaked hoping to help with strengthening his heart again to no avail, when in fact it was getting worse.
After many discussions with his husband Sam and his Doctors they decided to move back to Spokane to be closer to family and move his treatment to Sacred Heart Hospital.  As they were packing up to move, Kyle experienced chest pain & was rushed to the hospital again and was found to be in VTAC, irregular raising heart beat.
After a few more days in the hospital he was then life flighted to Spokane’s CICU, where the long journey to a heart transplant is really beginning.
He had a defibrillator/pace maker put in September 19th and is healing from that at home. That procedure and daily/weekly doctor visits and more tests in preparation for the next major surgery to receive an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) pump, which is scheduled for November 7th.
Kyle will be in the hospital for 3-5 weeks after surgery.  Kyle will have to have Sam taking care of him round the clock for another 3-5 weeks once he's able to go home.
The next step of this long journey onto the Heart transplant lists comes after all this is done.
We set up this GoFundMe page as a way to keep all Kyle's friends and family up to date on his journey to a new heart. Unfortunately, all of this is very expensive and although they do have medical insurance everything from the emergency room visits, medication, continued tests, etc is continuing to grow and is not fully covered.
Any donations towards Kyle's medical care is greatly appreciated.  If you are unable to donate, prayers and good vibes and sharing of this  are just as important and  very much appreciated as well.

As anyone who knows Kyle, knows he is very independent, private and prideful and would never ask this for himself.  Though he appreciates all the well wishes, prayers, good vibes and love he has gotten so far!
This page has been set up with love by his family.

Thank you so much for sharing or helping anyway you can!
Love the Heath's/Rost's!
