My name is Shaneia Newman. My daughter Kyia Newman who is 2years old was admitted to Children’s Hospital on July 31,2025 for possible pneumonia, that turned into something greater once image was taken, doctors came back and said that Kyia had to be admitted for heart failure. On August 11, 2025 @2:30 AM the doctors rushed in the room and had to perform CPR for 28mins on Kyia after they rushed and proceeded emergency heart surgery! As of now we are still in the hospital, Kyia is unable to breathe on her own and on a breathing machine. As of now we don’t know how long this admission will last. I’m a single mother who has two children which Kyia being one of them, I’m unable to work, and I would like to ask for donations due to the financial burden this has cost Kyia, her older sister and me.
