Hey everyone, my name is Kyesha. I am 31 years of age and a single mom of 4. I am a field LVN and I love taking care of patients in the comforts of their own home. I am experienced in IV therapy and wound care. I am currently trying to find a program to receive my RN. December 15, 2023 I got into an auto accident. My son broke both of his legs and his jaw while protecting his baby sister. The car I was driving was my mother’s and it was a total loss. I had a jeep that I let my friend use to help get them back on their feet but around the same time as the accident my jeep needed a new motor. Taking care of my sons injuries put me back financially due to being off work without FMLA but fortunately I was able to come up with the funds to get my jeeps motor in January and go back to work. While attempting to get my life back together I applied to two RN programs but unfortunately I was denied to both. June 10, 2024 I was at a patients house and all of a sudden we hear two booms. When we walked outside, my jeep, that I just got fixed in January, was completely in flames! As of now I have no clue what caused this and I just have a numb feeling. I haven’t given up on finding that RN program for me. I am currently waiting to hear from two more schools miles away from me. I started this account because I need help getting a car to continue to see my patients and once accepted into school I’d need a car to get back and forth. I am not picky. An encouraging word, a few dollars, a like, a share or even a prayer would be appreciated. If you’d like to know more about my story, because there is more lol, I’d love to share.
