Hi everyone, my name is Brittany. My dog Kush is currently battling cancer. unfortunately his cancer is aggressive and there isn’t much we can do to stop it! we’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and out of pain, and surrounded by love. He has been my best friend, my protector, and my constant source of comfort since i brought him home at 6 weeks old! He was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 1 and he has been a fighter his whole life! he is now 12 years old and was just recently diagnosed with malignant melanoma and seeing him struggle has been heartbreaking, and very hard on us especially my son! but I’m determined to give him the care he deserves.

His treatments, medications, and vet visits have quickly added up, and I’m reaching out for support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution—no matter how small—helps with his medical bills and gives him a chance to stay with us longer without pain.

We are still trying to recover financially from my mother's end-of-life care as well, so things are extremely difficult at this time.

He potentially has 4-6 months, and we will need to start planning for a cremation as well. I would love to be able to have him put to rest at our home instead of a hospital, that way our 7-year-old is able to be there as well. we are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible for the time he has left with us!
