Support Kurt Vreeland's Battle Against Cancer

Kurt Vreeland was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Colon Cancer. Since his emergency surgery last month, the family has been informed that his treatment will require months of intensive chemotherapy and radiation. Both Kurt and his wife Lisa have been dedicated first responders in the Closter Volunteer Fire Department (ex-Chief), and Closter Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Corps., as well as comforting countless grieving parents through their charity Robby's Rabbits. Kurt recently retired after nearly 30 years with Verizon, and Lisa just completed her 26th year teaching in the Paramus Public Schools. They have given selflessly to all of these diverse communities for decades. We are requesting funds to help with unforeseen expenses related to treatment, and to maintain daily living for the family, including their 12-year old son, Ryan.
