We are raising funds for our dear friend and coworker Kurt Black, who has recently been diagnosed with some major heart health issues, preventing his return to work. Kurt is the sole provider for his family and has been a dedicated employee at the Cleveland Animal Protective League for more than 20 years. Disability insurance has not provided any relief and the bills keep coming. He is working hard to get healthy enough to be cleared to come back to work to once again earn his living but the doctors say it will still be awhile before he can return. Kurt has helped so many by giving a helping hand, or being a good friend, or by giving advice, or even just being present. Please consider helping the guy who never asks for help. I can guarantee that this post will embarass him because he does not like asking for help, but he needs it right now. To all that know Kurt, they already know the type of person he is. But for those that don't know him as well, let me talk a little bit about the Kurt that I have know for better than 10 years. Kurt has worked hard his whole life and is an outstanding member of his community. I have personally seen some of the hard work he has put back into his neighborhood of Slavic Village. Kurt never hesitates to stop what he is doing to help pick someone else up when they need a hand. He's a stand up guy with a huge heart and if you know him well enough, he has a great sense of humor and amazing jokes too. Please consider helping, any little bit you can spare will help. The money raised will be going directly to Kurt and his wife Carol for food and bills. Let's help the guy that always helps everyone else!
