My name is Caedmon Anderson, and I am a film student at the University of Kansas. Alongside my co-director, Jake Holzinger, I am working on my Capstone film project, which we plan to shoot next semester from March 6th to 8th. This project is the culmination of my studies and a chance to bring a unique story to life with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers.

Our film follows Logan Brandt, a young man whose only friendship is put to the test, leaving him feeling isolated and alone. Everything changes when he meets the mysterious and charismatic Father Calder, who invites him to weekly gatherings to hear the 'good news.' As Logan becomes more involved, he finds a new sense of purpose, but it quickly spirals into something much deeper and more dangerous, leading him to face a sacrifice he may not be prepared to make. The story is inspired by acclaimed works like True Detective Season 1, Midnight Mass, and Twin Peaks, and serves as a proof-of-concept for a larger narrative involving a local sheriff and an out-of-town FBI agent investigating mysterious murders in a small town.

The funds raised will go directly toward supporting our amazing cast and crew, all of whom are volunteering their time and talent. Your support will help us provide meals, cover travel expenses for those coming from outside Lawrence, and purchase essential props, costumes, and location rentals.
