Support Krystal's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Krystal is such a kind hearted person, let's ease the burden for her after being hospitalized.

8/26 update
[Hospital bills are around 200k and Krystal is being billed 2k with an additional 30k that is in limbo of possibly being owed. At this current time she is unable to go back to work until after her sight improves, IF it improves. She has an optometrist appointment soon.]

Every little bit helps in these troubling times. She has undergone heart surgery and is still facing kidney problems and sight loss. Now that she is home she has limited vision and a very restricted diet. We are unsure when she will be able to return to work but the bills will continue regardless of if she's working or not. We aren't sure how much her medical insurance will cover but at the current moment it might not cover 30k.

Thank you for being there in this time of need!

8/6 Tues morning update:
Kidneys at about 30-35% function.
Proteins in blood show damage to heart.
2 false strokes, confirmed false from a specialist.
They are attempting to figure out BP medicine that is not IV.
MRI showed nothing abnormal.
She's on insulin now.
The doctors (4 of them) are trying to figure out if the kidneys are causing the problem or the (potential) blockage in the heart. (Inspection of the heart) can't do the dye as it would be to much on her kidneys.
Number 1 priority is getting BP to normal so they can do the proper procedures.
All stroke tests came back negative.

May have to do a kidney biopsy, 70-80% chance of that. But later.

8/6 Tues evening update:
Green light for heart test at 1030am. Endoscopic. If a Stent is needed it will be done in the same procedure. If a Stent is not possible then it might be open heart surgery. BUT, we don't know yet so....positive thoughts, prayers, blessings are all welcome.

8/7 Wednesday update:
Heart is 100% fine now. Surgery went perfect.
Bp is finally getting fine tuned to where the doc wants it.
Now that the heart is ruled outthe, doc is 80-90% sure he's got what the kidneys are doing. The kidneys are turning potassium into sodium. (If the doc was understood correctly)

8/10 Saturday update:
She can't see well at all. (Like, not even able to drive.) Her first appointment is an optometrist on Monday. She has 6 weekly appointments for blood tests. A 80-90% possible kidney biopsy. And, she just started 5 meds for blood pressure, and 3 for diabetes/cholesterol type stuff....
Still not sure footed, very tired still, kinda out of it....
She will probably not be able to work for quite some time.
Another thing is her potassium. The kidney doctor is watching her closely.
We will know a little more after the first blood test results and attending the appointments....
Until then, she will not be working. I will keep updating.
